Motorized Zebra Shades
Battery-operated shades function similarly to a cell phone; you charge the shade for 8 hours, and it will operate for 6 to 12 months. Hardwired shades connect directly to the electrical system, either by wiring directly to the motor or by plugging into a standard electrical wall outlet.

Side-By-Side Zebra Shades Installation
When you want to install your zebra shades side by side, in order to allow the perfect alignment of the horizontal stripes, order the shades the same length, and contact us to specify which zebra shades you would like to install side by side.

*NOTE: For a flushed mount the minimum required inside mount depth is 3" for window shades up to 96" in length. For window shades over 96" in length, 4" of window depth is required for a flush look.
Minimum Outside Mounting Surface: 2"
Factory Deductions
Inside mount fabric will have a deduction of 1 1/4" made from the factory to allow the mechanism to work properly.
Do not account for these deductions when measuring your windows.
Outside mount roller shades come with no deductions.
Motorization Option
Motorized shades will come to you already programmed, and ready to operate.
1-channel remote can operate on a single frequency (One roller shade).
5-channel and 16-channel remote allows you to operate multiple window shades. We suggest to have a dedicated remote control for each room.
When upgrading to multi-channel/frequency remote, please select 'No Remote' for any additional motorized shades you want to add to and power with it.
Add-on Smart WiFi Hub allows you to operate your motorized shade with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant.
How to Install Your Zebra Shades
Quick Tips to Remember:
- Use a steel measuring tape
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for width, round down to the nearest 1/8"
- If you get a 1/16" or 1/32" increment for height, round down to the nearest 1/8"
- Always reference product specifications above for complete measuring instructions

Installation
ShadeMonster offers free shipping within the contiguous United States for any product under certain sizes and weight restrictions. For items over the maximum restrictions, the shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the shipping carrier.

We are not currently shipping shutters to Hawaii or Alaska. Please contact us directly regarding shipping fees associated with orders outside of the contiguous United States.
No shipments can be made to military bases outside the continental United States (APO and FPO addresses).
3-Year Limited Warranty
ShadeMonster extends the following warranty to the original purchaser of window treatments, which are properly installed in the original window, with proof of purchase. This warranty is in addition to any warranty provided by manufacturers of products sold under brand names.
What is covered:
- Materials, operating mechanisms (included cords and ladders) and other parts are covered for 3 years. You will be charged for replacement parts on any order that's more than 3 years old.
- Manufacturer defects and shipping damage (reported within 14 calendar days)

We love the way these shades look in our kitchen window! My husband had some issues hanging them because the brackets that came with them were not covered in the instructions. He had to go online to your site to find the instructions for the kind of bracket we have. Instructions that are included, need to be updated.
